Purple circuit. Start from Lucens. On the heights of Lucens, let yourself be charmed by the surrounding forest. This hike is equipped for mountain bike as it runs alongside the official course with its obstacles. Several benches on the course.
Leave the centre of the village to go along the Cerjaulaz in the direction of Oulens. Shortly after the sawmill, on the right, you will find a resting place with table and benches near a fountain whose source is said to have some virtues! After the car park for the mountain bike track, the tarmac forest road climbs gently and you’re likely to meet some deer or horses. Follow the purple signs to the end of the forest with the Moser family horse farm. Leave it on the right, while admiring the view of the Moléson and the Pre-Alps, before starting the descent to Lucens via the Pont-Levis road and then the rue de la Boutaz.

1.  Parcours VTT

Tested by cycling champion Georges Lüthi, this trail features 13 fun obstacles along it's 5,7 km path through woods and fields.

2.  Ferme équestre La Perraire

The Perraire horse farm is open all year round for horseback and pony riding with family, friends or alone through the green and gently sloping countryside. An interesting feature is its former barn which has been turned into a workshop-art gallery.

3.  Château de Lucens

Perched on a hill, this military fortress is made of two distinct parts: the gothic castle (13th century) and the Bernese castle (16th century). Today in private hands, it can be rented for events. Temporarily open for visits.
